All wetlands greater than or equal to one half of an acre and all wetlands identified in a Department-approved wetland delineation report are required to be identified and mapped as polygons with a goal accuracy of +/- 5 meters (under 2009 LWI rules).Wetland polygons are associated with wetland functional assessment results and wetland summary sheets found within the LWI report. Wetland polygons include required attributes including unique wetland identification label, Cowardin classification code(s) and modifiers, HGM classification, approximate wetland size, Locally Significant Wetland significance determination, whether it was onsite, offsite or visually confirmed, and the Department's wetland delineation report file number, if any. |
