This map shows the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) forest protection districts. The ODF protection districts are the GIS representation of boundaries described in statute. Private and some federal lands within the boundaries are protected from fire by ODF. Most of the boundaries have been adjusted to the legal descriptions for the protection district boundaries compiled by the Protection From Fire Program. The most recent update broke the Cascade District into North and South Cascade Districts. The boundary is a proposed boundary and may be subject to change when finally adopted. Metadata
