Name: Wildfire Hazard to Potential Structures
Display Field:
Type: Raster Layer
Geometry Type: null
Description: This dataset is a 30-m cell size representation of conditional wildfire hazard in the context of residential structures. We applied the response functions to all relevant parts of the landscape including direct-exposure (burnable fuel types) or indirect-exposure (fuel types other than water, within 150 m of burnable fuel) regardless of whether a structure is present there. This provides us with the conditional hazard: if a given pixel were to experience a wildfire, and if it contained one or more residential structures, this would be the effect on a residential structure.
