This raster dataset provides population estimates for the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD) database (https://gii.dhs.gov/HIFLD).
LandScan USA Population Database 2018 provides estimated population counts at 3 arc-second resolution for Nighttime and Daytime, for the Continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska. Residents, Prisoners, Workers, Students, and Shoppers are modeled. These are baseline population estimates, which do not include transitory populations such as business travelers and tourists. Nighttime population estimates at 3 arc-second resolution are also available for Puerto Rico.
