This map was created to delineate the extent of the active channel and other floodplain features for the Willamette River, Oregon, for the year 1995. The extent of the active channel and features such as alcoves, secondary channels, remnant ponds, and islands were based on digital orthophotographs acquired in 1994-1995. Water bodies (primarily main and secondary channels) were digitized from the photos and interpreted for channel type.
